Terms & Conditions – Shannonvale Cottage
These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made with Shannonvale Cottage. By making a booking, you agree to the following:
1. Booking & Payment
A deposit of 20% is required to secure your booking. The balance is due 60 before arrival unless otherwise agreed.
Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit is received and a confirmation email is issued.
Prices are quoted in Euro and include VAT.
2. Cancellation Policy
Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for full details.
3. Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in: From 16.00 on the day of arrival.
Check-out: By 11.00 on the day of departure.
Late check-out may incur additional charges unless agreed in advance.
4. Occupancy
Only the number of guests specified at the time of booking may stay at the property.
The lead guest must be over 18 and is responsible for the behaviour of all guests.
No parties or events are allowed without prior written approval.
5. House Rules
The property must be kept clean and in good condition.
No smoking inside the accommodation.
Pets are not allowed.
Please respect neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, especially between 10pm and 8am.
6. Damages & Breakages
Guests are responsible for any damage or breakages caused during their stay.
A damage deposit of €200 may be required. This will be refunded within 5 days of departure, subject to inspection.
7. Liability
We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal belongings.
Guests must take reasonable care for their own safety and the security of the property.
8. Force Majeure
We are not liable for refunds or compensation due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or extreme weather.
9. Data Protection
We comply with GDPR and will only use your personal data for booking and communication purposes. We will not share your information with third parties without consent.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
